My first day in Brisbane was so fun, and luckily the jetlag has not set in too badly yet. First Tracy and I attended a birthday tea for one of her best friends, who were all so welcoming. I ended the night by meeting my new boss, Fleur, and her husband. We went to Fleur's parents' amazing river-front apartment to watch the fireworks that were a part of the Riverfire event they have every year in Brisbane. Probably the best fireworks I've ever seen and definitely in one of the most memorable settings. Thanks to everyone for making my first day so great!
We missed you at the team meeting! We decided to all sit on one side of the table so AHA can see us on Skype and held an impromptu "View" style interview. We should have a major network deal by the time you get back : ) So glad to hear you're having a good time and looking forward to many blog updates to come!

Did you take that picture of the fireworks!? They are beautiful! When ever I try and take pictures of them, they've usually already disappeared :( Glad to hear you made it! I can't wait to hear about all your adventures. Hug a koala for me while you're there!
